On Deck

In honor of the Ray Hunt Memorial Clinic on February 27-28, 2010, two new articles about Ray are featured in "Uncommon Horse Sense", Ray Hunt Memorial Clinic 2010 by Mike Thomas and Back at the Beginning with Ray Hunt by Jim Overstreet.

Featured Author

We'd like to bring special attention to works published here by Jim Overstreet, an early participant in Ray Hunt clinics along with other hands at MRCC under Mike's management. In addition to his new "On Deck" article, Back at the Beginning with Ray Hunt, Jim shares vivid, insightful first-hand accounts of his experiences with Tom Dorrance and recollections of his good horse, Lady Lou Hancock, in our Uncommon Horse Sense collection.

Best Seat in the House

Mike and Smokey watch Ricky Quinn Jr.'s 2009 clinic at Goldfield Ranch, AZ, and think they'll share a peanut butter and jelly sandwich later.
